- - The Failure and Reliability Material (FaRM) Laboratory is one of laboratories in SEOULTECH that study on designing high reliability material, evaluating reliability, analysis failure mode and non-destructive monitoring.
- - Obtaining high reliability fatigue failure safety data for material cracks in order to establish asset performance management based on damage tolerance.
- - A quantitative evaluation of the battery is conducted through the accelerated life test, which is a physical analysis and reliability analysis of battery failure caused by mechanical fatigue of the flexible battery.
- - A recycling study is conducted to extract valuable metals (Li, Ni, Co, Mn) from waste batteries and turn them back into batteries.
- - High-strength ceramic materials are developed by predicting and interpreting deformation and damage in the manufacturing process of structural ceramics, and research is also underway on durability and reliability evaluation of mechanical parts materials, electronic parts, and solar cells by introducing non-destructive mechanical properties of materials.
