We are exploring the relationship between the structure and property of nanomaterials based on nanoscience to realize the high- & multi-functional metal/ceramic/polymer and composite nanomaterials.
Our research begins with the development and optimization of an efficient and versatile synthetic process that can precisely control the structure of nanomaterials. By systematically analyzing the physicochemical properties of synthesized nanomaterials and logically interpreting the results, we are conducting research to establish the correlation between process-structure-property and to maximize properties by optimizing the process and structure. Our ultimate goal is to apply the developed nanomaterials to various technological fields of energy, environmental, information, biological, and space technology to solve the various problems facing mankind and to improve the lives of mankind.
주요 소재 합성 기술
The goal of our research group is to synthesize advanced nanomaterials with the controlled crystal structures, morphologies, sizes, compositions and surface properties using low-cost and scalable processings. Through these synthesis methods, we try to overcome the limitations of conventional methods that have low yields and realize the commercialization of nanomaterials at various applications with optimized properties.
